Jimmy Johnson is a Chief Inspector at the United States Marshals Service and a Law Enforcement at Large member of the Law Enforcement Torch Run International Executive Council. He has been involved in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics since 2002, following the footsteps of his older brother Jason Johnson, who was also an International Executive Council member. Jimmy has participated in several Final Legs, served as the LETR Alaska State Director, and received the Ed Stauber Award in 2021.

Besides being part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run, Jimmy has also been a board member and chair of Special Olympics Alaska. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Jamestown University and a minor in Spanish from Universidad de Costa Rica. He has extensive professional experience in various fields of law enforcement, such as fugitive task force, sex offender investigations, threat analysis, tribal affairs, protective investigations, weapons of mass destruction, joint terrorism task force, and judicial security assessment. He is a certified Physical Security Specialist and a Subject Matter Expert in several courses related to protection and security. He has received numerous awards and recognitions for his service and performance.
