LETR Hall of Fame
The LETR Richard LaMunyon Hall of Fame recognizes individuals of outstanding service to the growth and development of their local Torch Run program, and the national and international Torch Run movement. All nominees and recipients are recognized at the annual LETR conference during the Hall of Fame Banquet.
- Criteria: Nominee must have participated within the LETR movement for at least seven (7) years. They must demonstrate outstanding achievement in LETR development, organization or fundraising success on a state/province/country and regional/international level OR have been instrumental in creating and sustaining a program or initiative that has led to significant sustainable growth of the movement in both human and monetary resources.
- Required Documents: Complete nomination form, Minimum of two Letters of support from individuals who have worked closely with the nominee and, 6-8 digital photos
- Approvals: Nominations require the approval of the nominee’s Special Olympics Program CEO and must be submitted through the nominator’s LETR or Special Olympics Program.
- Nomination Period: Hall of Fame nominations remain in consideration for a period of two years. Programs with a carryover nomination is responsible for updating/refreshing the application for the second year of eligibility.
