IACP Photo Contest

Criteria: For the past 20 years, the IACP has hosted the LETR Photography contest as part of the IACP Founders Luncheon at the International LETR Conference. SO Programs and/or LETR Programs are able to submit photos based on Five Categories:

• Group: Showing law enforcement, athletes or Torch Run participants as a group
• Guardians of the Flame: Depicting law enforcement as stewards of the Flame of Hope – officers carrying the torch, engaging with communities, and participating in LETR events.
• Officer & Athlete: Showcasing law enforcement’s support for Special Olympics athletes or illustrating interactions between law enforcement personnel and athletes
• Spirit: Images that uniquely represent the essence of the Torch Run
• Professional: Images captured by a person during a Torch Run event for which the photographer is compensated or paid

Required Documents: high-resolution image and description of image

Approvals: Submission by SO Liaison or LETR Director
