Growth Fund Submission

LETR Executive Council Growth Fund is a special fund that was established by Special Olympics, Inc. in 2023. This fund is used for LETR global growth initiatives that require funding beyond the LETR Executive Council’s annual operating budget. The fund is managed by the LETR Executive Council.

Growth funds must be used for initiatives strategically aligned with the LETR mission, Executive Council priorities or adopted initiatives. Growth funds may not be used for general operating expenses such as operational budget expenses, LETR International Conference operational expenses or Spring Business meetings, etc.

Less than $2,499 – Approved by LETR Executive Council Chair

$2,500 - $4,999 – Requests must be approved by LETR Executive Council Chair and Co-Chair

$5,000+ - Requests must be approved via a majority vote of the LETR Executive Council

Strategic Alignment: All requests must be strategically aligned with the LETR mission, Executive Council strategic plan or adopted initiatives

Project Budget: All requests will require the submission of a project budget. Projects that will extend beyond one fiscal year must include a plan for future funding. Projects with additional funding sources may receive priority.

Impact Report: All funded projects must submit an impact report to the LETR Executive Council within 3 months of the project date. This report should include how the funds directly impacted the LETR mission, Executive Council strategic plan or adopted initiative.
